The Swiss location is run by MicroCom GmbH of Buchs SG. It carries the same name but is a legally separate company, and is independently responsible for data collected there.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by METANET AG in Switzerland. The provider processes the data that arises on our behalf, as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR.

When a page is requested, the web server automatically writes a log entry. It contains the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time, the address requested, the page visited before, and details of the browser and operating system. These details are technically necessary to deliver the page.

We use the logs to keep the site running, to spot attacks and to narrow down technical faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This data is not combined with other sources, and we make no attempt to identify individual visitors.

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or advertising services and uses no tracking pixels. That is also why there is no cookie notice. Fonts and images sit on our own server; nothing is loaded from third parties when the page opens.

Links you click yourself are the exception: the remote-support link leads to ISL Online, and the certification link to 3CX. Once you follow them, the privacy terms of those providers apply.
